Pat Musick
Pat Musick (b. 1952) has worked primarily in enameling (glass fused to metal at high heat) and calligraphy/letterforms. She studied drawing and ceramics with her parents; calligraphy and letterforms with Robert Palladino, Lloyd Reynolds, Berthold Wolpe, and Nicolete Gray; and enameling with Patrick Furse. Her works include three Art in Public Places public murals in Colorado. From researching early manuscripts in Ireland to serving as Artist-in-Residence at Grand Canyon National Park (North Rim) and Petrified Forest National Park, she is inspired by nature, human culture, and their intersections.
